The code of conduct as envisaged below is the summary of what every students of NPHSS is expected to follow :

  1. All students must be punctual and regular.
  2. Every student must wish the teachers.
  3. When a teacher or visitor enters or leaves the classroom, the students must stand as a mark of respect.
  4. Students should not leave the classroom without permission of the teacher or until the class is over.
  5. Students should move to classrooms in silence and in a line.
  6. Teachers must ensure that students maintain order and the environment in the class be conducive to serious and undisturbed work.
  7. During the absence of a teacher from class, students will obey the Monitor who is required to maintain order.
  8. Students must bring books as per the class time-table only.
  9. Unpescribed books, periodicals or papers of an objectionable nature should not be brought to school.
  10. Students must play only in the areas designated for games and sports and must not run, or play or make noise inside the main school building.
  11. Student must not scribble or write anything on the shirt/uniform or walls.
  12. If a student finds money or items of property on the school premises he/she should deposit the same with the Headmistress/Academic Coordinator/Principal.
  13. Students must not, without the Principal's permission, join in a club or association or make any engagement likely to interface with their studies.
  14. Students must not indulge in rude behavior and rowdyism, violence of any form casters or communalism.
  15. Students shall not leave the school premises during school hours, except on medical grounds or under exceptional circumstances, without the written permission of the Principal.
  16. Student must lay emphasis on personal health and hygience and Cooperate in keeping the classrooms, corridors, compound, play fields and other areas of the school spanking Clean.
  17. Lending and borrowing of money or other articles in strictly prohibited.
  18. Students must come to school in their correct uniform, well groomed, neat and tidy, and their nails clipped and clean. As long as a student is on the school rolls, he/she must be in school uniform when coming to school.
  19. Students must not drive two wheelers or cars without a licence.
  20. Students must take care of school property. Any damage done to school property must be made good by them.
  21. The Principal will take strict disciplinary action against a student, if found loitering outside the school premises during school hours.
  22. Possession and use of mobile phones is totally banned in the school and hostels. Carrying mobile phone is a punishable act. Disciplinary action, that may lead to suspension or rustication may be taken against students with mobile phones, I-pods etc. These items would be confiscated and fine of Rs.500/- would be charged. Parents should not approach the school for its return.
  23. Using abusive language will lead to strict disciplinary action.
  24. Students should desist from all forms of bullying and violence against fellow students.
  25. Going to any neighboring kiosks selling paan masala etc. or assembling near such kiosks is a punishable offence.

Leave of Absence

  1. Applications for leave should be purpose-specific. Vague applications will not be entertained.
  2. When a student is absent from school, he/she must produce a leave note and the section for leave in the school almanac should be filled and signed by the parents/guardians. This would be countersigned by the class teacher. In the absence of these formalities the students may not be allowed to enter the classroom and be marked as absent.
  3. A student who has recovered from an infectious disease may attend school only after producing a certificate from a registered medical practitioner to the effect that he/she does not carry the risk of recrudescence. The Principal reserves the right of extending the student's rejoining date after obtaining medical opinion.
  4. A student who is not present in school during Assessment and Examinations and on the days of closing and reopening after vacations will be penalized. In case of illness, the school must be notified and a medical certificate submitted subsequently.

Admission and Withdrawals

  1. The Principal reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason.
  2. A transfer Certificate from the last school must be submitted before a student can be admitted. Outstation candidates must get the T.C. attested by the Directorate of Education of the area.
  3. All admissions are subject to an Entrance Test and an interview. The admission is not complete until the Principal gives the approval by signing the admission form and the prescribed fee for admission is paid. No interview/test for Nursery/KG admission
  4. Those who are already studying in the school and wish to withdraw must give one month's notice, otherwise, one month's free (including transport/Boarding charges) will be charged in addition to the fee of the quarter.
  5. The Principal may ask a student to withdraw if he/she fails for two consecutive years in the same class.
  6. Students withdrawn or expelled from the school or hostel on disciplinary grounds may not be readmiteed.
